Allied Health Fees for Assessment and Therapy

Therapy sessions may be claimable under families private health insurance, or a rebate may be claimed through Medicare for eligible families. For private clients, payments are due on the day of service provision.

Invoices will be emailed to families with the option of paying online via credit card or via EFT.

Please note these prices are for private clients, where payment is required on the day of the service. Due to the additional administration costs, our other service programs have a different fee schedule.

Services provided under National Disability Insurance Scheme funding are charged at the current NDIS rate.

Medicare Rebates

At Pearson Allied Health Services we are passionate about ensuring that all clients can access services and therefore we are more than happy to work with clients accessing Medicare plans.

For clients utilising Mental Health Care Treatment plans or Enhanced Primary Care plans through Medicare, clients are required to make payment on the day of services and can then claim the rebate back from Medicare.

For services provided in our office, Medicare rebates can be processed in our office if the client has their Medicare card.

Please advise our administration staff when booking your initial session if you are or plan on claiming a Medicare rebate so that we can prepare the necessary documentation.

Travel Costs

As part of the therapy process, we often find it beneficial to see our clients in a number of settings as often our clients may interact differently depending on their surroundings. As such, we offer our clients the option of Clinic, Home, School or Childcare/Kindy sessions.

When booking in for services, please advise our friendly admin staff what you would prefer and we will try and arrange this for you.

When providing services that are more than a 10km round trip from our office, please be advised that a travel component may be added to your session cost. This amount may vary dependent on the number of other clients seeking mobile services in the area, but this will be clarified upon our provision of a travel quote.

Cancellation Fees

Unfortunately, due to a recent increase of last minute cancellations and missed appointments, Pearson Allied Health Services has needed to implement a cancellation policy.

Missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee. Upon provision of a medical certificate and if at least 3 hours notice is given prior to the session time, the $50.00 cancellation fee will be waived. All client services will be suspended pending payment of any cancellation fees.

If an individual cancels or misses more than 25% of booked appointments in a school term, they risk losing their ongoing appointment time to clients on our waiting list. We ask all our families to persevere to book all other appointments around existing therapy bookings and that where appointment conflicts occur to please provide Pearson Allied Health Services with as much notice as possible to allow us to attempt to reschedule your appointment.

We ask all families to consider the high demand for Allied Health services throughout South Australia and to acknowledge that in cases of poor attendance and poor engagement in services families risk losing their regular session times to new or existing clients.
